Hotel Du Lac & Wellness Harmony

Beautiful hotel grounds and location. The sea view suite was very nice too but the AC kept turning on and off very annoyingly once the room was at 26C (so we slept with an open window instead). Breakfast was ok, sadly no good italian coffee. The restaurant was ok in a pinch but there are definitely much better options in the area. I would like to especially thank Angela from reception for her hospitality and excellent service. All in all, I would recommend staying here.

Location is really great just next to the lake, big garden with swimming pool and place to get some sun. Big plus as everything is very clean. Minus for rooms. This is four star hotel but there is nothing in the room. We didn't have the cheapest one but still no water in the room, no kettle coffe or tea, there were as well no glasses. Good that we had at least towels. During breakfast there was a guy who was showing place to sit, there was 30 free tablet but he asked us to wait to clean dirty one, it was not nice and wired to stand for 5 minute next to the table while the one next to it was free. We spend there 7 days breakfast were good but very boring, every day exactly same things. For me it's max 3 stars hotel.

The hotel is beautiful, the rooms are spacious and the location, while outside of the town, is outstanding. Unfortunately these are the only positives I can say about this hotel. We are an elderly couple, I inadvertently booked this hotel instead of one with a similar name (in another town). We only became aware of this error on arrival at the other hotel. We tried to cancel viathe agency where we were told the hotel would expect payment for the full 9 nights or we could send a very short message asking the hotel for a refund. My son lied and said we had Covid. We were unhappy with this so travelled there to apologise in person and ask for a partial refund. They refused to refund anything Repeatedly blamed us for a genuine mistake Would not call us or allow us speak to the manager Repeatedly lied and said it was the agency we used who would not refund They offered us a generous discount on a future stay which of course we would not consider after how they treated us. We told them even a partial refund would have been a full marks review, but they were happier to keep our money and treat us with contempt.

A wonderful hotel in a wonderful location. The rooms are easily at a 5 stars hotel level. The weakness of this place, for me, has been the lack of coordination and communication between the staff members and the customers. We did not receive our parking spot number beforehand so we had to park at random and then move the car. We didn't receive the wifi code at the check in, it wasn't in the room, so back to the counter. We were not informed that the SPA needed to be reserved so we couldn't find a spot. The restaurant at lunch was mediocre, the preparation and presentation were quite lacking. I think a place like this really needs a strong head chef in the kitchen. Breakfast was ok but I was expecting better. The room was perfectly clean, silent and spacious. Real comfort there. Staff members were kind and helpful. If you go to an hotel in this area, you are going to spend 90% of your time outside, so these little weaknesses don't really matter that much. Perhaps it doesn't sound like that from what I wrote, but I actually strongly recommend it.

Worst hotel I’ve been to in Garda. I’ve been to Garda many times but this was by far the worst hotel. Check out is split in categories. If you’re a better category person (means you have booked a suite) you’re allowed to check out at noon, if you have a normal or deluxe room you are low category and have to check out at 10am. I arrived late in the evening at 7pm and it took the manager of the hotel almost 1 hour to find us a parking and a hotel room that didn’t stink like paint. They are painting rooms and then put guests in there. We got a room where the entire room smelt like paint. Because they are doing renovations and painting the walls and floors. I’d never come back here. The management at this hotel won’t help in absolutely anything. Even the breakfast area is split in categories of ppl.

Hotel Du Lac sits at the south of Limone Centro and 15 minutes climb from the city centre. Very fast check in service without any hussle. I felt it was missing the 4 star service they claimed to be. The hotel has lots of lake view rooms. Not all rooms can view the lake from the balcony. It should be advertised as lake facing room. The room is basic and has all the functions needed. The white thin curtain makes it very intrusive on our privacy, although, the window panels can be inconveniently closed from outside. Breakfast seat was pre arranged. No obvious patterns other than better rooms has better view, which strengthen my opinion that not all room is created equal. The system is obviously failing because my room number was not assigned and we were given free seating at less desirable area (without lake view). Good atmosphere from the music, but staffs gathering and chattering spoils the mood. We deliberately changed our hotel to Du Lac Hotel for its 4 stars hotel in exchange of its inconveniently far location. The view from the hotel did not live up to the expectation. The price I am paying I would rather stay at a motel and use the money for a good dinner.

Great location and little spa plus good food service but rooms could be improved. We stayed in a junior suite with a bathroom that was outdated and quite small and struggled to sleep because of mosquitoes (and no mosquito net in the room!). We reported this to reception and they did a bit of toxic anti insects spray which didn’t fully work. For £300 a night and 4* I was expecting a bit better. Still worth the views though.

＋they have the facility u expect from a four star hotel. Like gym, pool etc. ＋lovely direct lake view with a beautiful little garden. ＋ evening live music was very nice. One star for the singer. - most of the staffs were friendly expect one middle aged waiter, who take care of the drinking order during evening live music. He was very unfriendly to us. We back from outside late and stopped at the lobby because some guests were dancing with the live music. he approached us asking drink, we say no we are just taking a look, he saw the wine we carried in our hand (Bought from outside, wasn't even open, hand carry because it's fragile.), we explained again we will not drink the wine here, he directly walked away and staring at us without any word, the unhappy face frustrated us and we immediately went back room. I think he could have handled this situation in a better way. - some of the facility is little outdated, but i heard they are renovating.
